Recently a man was talking to me who claimed to be a Christian businessman. I question whether he was actually a Christian because of some of the things he said to me. So what did he say?
Well first he told me that he saw a great future for Christians because of the current world circumstances because of the technology available and that he saw humanity uniting with technology and how awesome that would be. Now the bible says:
"But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." (1 Corinthians 6:17 AKJV)
I do not believe humans are meant to unite with technology. I believe we are meant to unite with God. Yes, we can use technology. But we are not meant to unite to technology.
This man also told me I should get microchipped and all Christians should. He said Christians had often been scared in the past because of technology but they shouldn't be afraid of microchipping and should accept it. He also said talked about how awesome it would be to go through shops and pay for things with a wave of your hand and the power would be a good thing. Well, I disagree.
I do not want to be united to technology. I don't want to be united to a machine or a mobile phone or any technology. I want to be united to God. I choose God to be united to, not technology.
Some of the technology and the pressure of current world events is preparing people and the world for the mark of the beast. In case you are not aware, Microsoft has a new patent application WO2020060606 which is a cryptocurrency system using body activity data. From what I understand of cryptocurrency, this system means that instead of using computers to mine day in and day out for money (cryptocurrency) that with this system they will hook people up (using technology) to carry out tasks to then gain some money.
Well, I do not agree with this system. I do not believe it is right to be united to a monetary system as this is proposing. My actions should not be dictated to by a system. My actions should be aligned and united to God's will for my life. I am united to God. With a system like this, it means that whoever is in charge of this system will be controlling and monitoring your actions and rewarding you with money.
The bible says in John 6:35:
"And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." (AKJV)
Well if Jesus is the bread of life then I will rely on him and I will obey him. He is my sustenance. I will not rely on the world's methods. God has been reminding me daily to have him as the bread of life. He provide for my needs.
In Revelation 13:15-18 it says:
"And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." (AKJV)
That number given is 666. I believe we are fast approaching these prophesized times. And when I was younger I was very scared to even read Revelation. But now I'm not. Because I know God can and will keep me safe. Remember he promises those who turn to him to live forever. He also says that he will keep us away from the day of wrath. We must give ourselves completely to him. So yes it is a heart issue. But by giving our hearts to God, this also effects our actions. This means that when we are God's, we are united to him and we don't unite to something else (like technology). By giving ourselves to God he helps us in each and every decision to make the right one. We should never hand our hearts or bodies or minds to anyone but God.
Is this all too scary? No. Because we aren't meant to worry. Remember this verse:
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." (John 14:1)
So be in union with Christ. Be joined to God. Be one spirit with God. Believe in him and do not be troubled. He will help you make the right decision to keep you safe.
